In Thursday’s Boston Globe, Carbo — currently drug free and leading a baseball themed evangelical ministry — tells the paper’s Stan Grossfield his 3-run, pinch-hit HR off the Reds’ Rawly Eastwick in the 8th inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series occurred while he was high as a kite.
